Social Media

Flikr, Facebook, Bebo, YouTube, Twitter, RSS, Feedburner, Vimeo, MySpace, Blogger, Email Newsletters…… It makes your head hurt, doesn’t it?

Ok, so you’re studying all the great things you can waste away your life looking at online, spending hours of your precious life each evening trying to get you head around it, yet you can’t help but wonder how it is that some companies seem to be able to harness all those things and effortlessly turn them to their advantage.

Should you be using them? All of them? Some of them? Even none of them? Do you really have the time? Should you be blogging? Didn’t someone get fired for that? If used without control, all of the above media will be right up there as the online version of 100 photocopies of your body parts at the Christmas party.

They can all work very well for your marketing as part of building your reputation as being experts at what you do, but some REALLY dislike the idea of companies trying to move in on the happy atmosphere. Used well, even the most boring or mundane brands can benefit. It all depends upon what your overall objective is. Indeed if you value your own intellectual property, some should be avoided like the plague.

We have used all of the above within the last twelve months very effectively for a variety of used and will continue to do so, indeed you can see examples of those in our blog postings on the right.
